Fairway Products partnered with Seedsheets, a company specializing in non-woven materials embedded with seed pods, to address their challenge of keeping up with growing demand. Seedsheets needed a more effective and efficient way to cut their materials. Leveraging our advanced, high-efficiency cutting technology, Fairway Products delivered quick, precise cuts with minimal waste at a cost-effective rate, supporting Seedsheets in scaling their business.

Seedsheets produces environmentally friendly, ready-to-go garden planting sheets made from non-woven material embedded with seed pods. This material not only promotes the growth of desired plants but also prevents weeds. However, Seedsheets required a more efficient cutting method to handle their unique materials as their existing methods were insufficient for scaling production.

To keep up with increasing customer demand, Seedsheets explored in-house cutting and partnered with a local cutting company. However, both methods quickly became overwhelmed, creating a bottleneck in production. This meant that they risked delays in fulfilling orders, potentially leading to dissatisfied customers and a decline in future sales.

Fairway Products first assessed our capacity to take on the project, ensuring we could meet Seedsheets’ inventory demands. We evaluated whether additional personnel or new equipment would be needed to accommodate the required production volume. Our team then reviewed Seedsheets’ existing design and cutting programs, identified areas for improvement, and developed a more efficient process tailored to their needs.
