As reported by USA TODAY in the article “Exclusive: A first look at Delta Air Lines’ new cabin interiors. What to expect,” Delta is preparing for its 100th anniversary with an overhaul of its cabin interiors focused on finishes and comfort upgrades rather than structural changes.
While Delta’s seat layouts and cabin configurations will remain the same, the airline is introducing updated colors, fabrics, and textures throughout its fleet. The first aircraft featuring the new look, a Boeing 757, is expected to enter service within weeks. Passengers will notice reupholstered seats with a modern, breathable fabric replacing traditional leather, particularly in Delta One business class where navy blue and gray with red accents dominate the new aesthetic.
